                   My Story

It all started in 2010 while I was in college being a full-time student athlete where I was having troubles with my hair. Being an athlete, your hair goes through so much wear and tear from the sweat, dirt, chlorine from those pool workouts, heat styling, too tight weave styling, using relaxers, coloring hair, and little to no time to maintain healthy hair.  No matter what styles I did to "grow" my hair, after a relaxer it was always the same length, thinner, and lifeless.  I always ended up cutting my hair shorter and shorter because I thought that would refresh my hair and it would grow longer and healthier.  But I was so wrong.  I began to research and experiment with natural hair products.  I also used YouTube as a gateway to see what other women were doing with their hair to make it healthy and grow it long...so I transitioned out of that relaxer and on 1-1-11, I cut my hair.  Not only had I been starting my personal hair journey but I was also able to use my new found information when working on my clients hair. And the results had and still are evident in the health of my hair and the hair of my clientele.  Knowing how to properly care for the hair that grows out of your scalp became a huge passion of mine.  Because of my growing passion for hair care, I became a graduate of Aveda Institute Tucson's Cosmetology program to benefit my community through hair care.

As for product making, what was once known as Tish's Shea Butter Frosting circa 2011...is now called Hair-ta-Toe Total Body Butter with the same great ingredients.  It was created to be a sealant for any type of moisture added to the hair or to the skin.  It can be used as a heat protectant all the way to a soothing aftershave for men who may have sensitive skin.  Following this amazing product, I've since developed the Lofty Locs Daily Hair Mist for daily moisture, Lofty Locs Scalp Oil for soothing a dry scalp,  Roots-ta-Tip Herbal Styling Spray to create scalp stimulation and promote hair growth,  Roots-ta-Tip Coconut Styling Cream which is used to soften the hair and create a healthy scalp, and finally the Roots-ta-Tip Aloe Vera Styler is a moisturizing gel that prevents hair breakage.
